PRIORITY PAGELETS

A few weeks ago we showed you our new Pro column header pagelets and described how you can use them to delineate spaces more clearly.

Agendio offers another way to mark spaces and their purpose in agendio Pro: Background text pagelets, which we call priority pagelets. They’re the ones you see in the Designer pagelet drawer with the word Priority in the background. Did you know you can change that word to whatever you want?

The background text in a priority pagelet can act as a title for the section instead of adding a title at the top.

This Pro page was created recently and incorporates priority pagelets in the right-side monitor to create a task matrix. It’s an effective method to separate that section visually.

Another excellent application of priority pagelets is this Extra page spread of intentions and highlights. Using priority pagelets keeps the page very neat and allows for usage of the entire page without losing space by adding titles to each pagelet.

You can also use priority pagelets in dated pages. Here is an example from a daily page:

Priority pagelets can also be practical for narrower spaces:

They are also very practical if you have a very full and concentrated schedule. This weekly page doesn’t have enough space for title labels in every pagelet, so priority pagelets have been used to mark the purpose of each section.

Consider using priority pagelets in your next agendio to identify spaces within a page.

MORE PRO LABELS

We’ve added a great new feature: You can now mix labels and happenings in your list pagelets on your Pro layouts.

In the past, you could add happenings (activities, events and holidays) in the dated sections of your pages, and you could add labels mostly in the right side columns. But we didn’t have a proper way to show the labels on every day of your planner.

Now our code has advanced to the point that you can combine labels and happenings in the same list pagelets on all dated pages, including weekly, daily and monthly. The labels will show every day and the happenings will show at the frequency you select. You can add them anywhere in your list pagelets.

For example, you can now customize your layout to include these labels on a weekly layout:

Give it a try and let us know how it works for you.

MORE PRO TEMPLATES

Agendio Pro offers amazing new features such as building your pages from blank canvases, stretching and shrinking pagelets, two fonts per page and much more.

Another big plus is that with Pro, we’ve added new templates and canvases that many of you have asked for over the years, for example a weekly column layout with 4 days/columns on the left.

Classic offers “5 columns-on-the-left” and “3 columns-on-the-left”. But some of you find the columns on the 5 too narrow for your needs, and the 3 too wide, but that 4 would be just right. So we’ve added that option in Pro for you, not only as templates, but also as a blank canvas for you to make your own page.

Try the 4-column and see if it’s the right fit for you. And, if you make a layout that you think will interest others, remember that you can also share it with the community.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

We know it’s not 2025 yet, but January is 35 days from today and many of you have not purchased your next agendio.

So we thought we’d remind you about the risk of shipping delays and longer production times, and of waiting for your new agendio to show up in January because you started working on it too late.

Or you could order now and receive it in December with much less stress.

And this year there’s another reason to start now: Agendio Pro. The reaction has been amazing and the new features are very engaging. But Pro takes a little longer, because you’ll need to make your custom pages.

So, what are you waiting for?

AGENDIO SHARED PAGES

Agendio is the only company in the world that allows you to share planner pages with other Agendio customers and to use pages they shared.

This Pro feature helps you in two ways: You see a wide assortment of page customization ideas from other customers and you save the time it would take you to make them yourself.

We thought you might be interested to see the kinds of pages customers have shared.

You can see all the pages on the Pages & more page, accessible at https://pro.agendio.com/#/shared

NEW ROW LAYOUTS

With the introduction of Pro, we have added many new template layouts. Over the next weeks and months, we plan to highlight many of them for you.

Today we’re showing you some new row formats, the 4 / 3 and the 3 / 4. The first number refers to the number of days on the left page and the second to the number of days on the right page.

Here are two of our new row templates:

You can select these models by going to Pages & more, selecting Templates and setting the filter to Large / Weekly / Row and keeping checked 4 / 3 and 3 / 4.

Please note:

  • These are just a few of the new row templates;
  • After selecting templates, you can customize them substantially, including stretching pagelets, moving them and making other major changes to pagelets to suit your preferences.
  • You also have the option of making your own row dated layout, by choosing a Blank canvas instead of Template, filtering your options to find the row canvases of this or another type and then filling your pages exactly as you want with the pagelets that you choose.

INTRODUCING AGENDIO PRO!

After many years of work, the new agendio.com is live. It’s not just a new website, it’s an entirely new way of making planners.

It includes four amazing new features:

– Pages & more, the starting place for making your pages and the place to keep all your pages, your planners and your lists of activities, events and holidays;

– Agendio Designer, an application we developed to create and modify pages;

– The new Agendio Builder, packed with even more industry-leading features;

– The Agendio guide, a complete guide providing assistance for all our applications and making sure you don’t miss any features.

We added a huge number of new features, including adjustable font sizes, but we can’t list them all here because the list would be too long. So the best way to find out is to explore the website.

If you like having control over your planner pages, then we think you’ll really like Pro. However, if you prefer to stick with our current Builder, that’s fine too: We now refer to it as our Classic Builder and we will continue to offer it and to support it.

LISTS

We’re continuing our series on the best agendio features.
Today we look at Lists.

When you customize your agendio, you can add lists to your divisible pagelets. So you can include repeating todos, without having to write them by hand on every spread.

You also add checkboxes or checkcircles when you add list labels, which will add a checkbox on each line before each list item, so you can mark each one when it’s done.

You can also add multiple lists. If you divide your divisible into multiple pagelets, you can add separate lists to any or all of them.

START DATES

We’re continuing our series on the best Agendio features. Today we look at start date options.

Start on any date…

You can start your agendio on any day of the year. That means not only any month, but also any day of any month. So it can be January 1, but it can also be March 15th, July 4th, September 25… Whatever day you prefer.

It can also be your birthday. Your planner guides you as you live your life – Consider starting your agendio on your birthday and track each year of your own life.

… and any day

Does the week start on Sunday or Monday? We don’t know, which is why, at Agendio, you can choose any day to start. You can even start your Weekly on one day, such as Monday, and your monthly on a different day, for example Sunday.

You can also set your layouts and mini-calendars to start on different days. So you can start your weekly pages on Mondays, but start your monthly mini-calendars on Sunday.
